Amazone Launches New Machines at the Highland Show
2014 has been a busy time at Amazone with a record number of product launches taking place and Ingliston will give us the opportunity to show you what exciting new kit we have to offer.
As a brief intro into what delights await here is a quick overview of the new kit on show:
New ploughs, drills, spreaders and sprayers are launched at the Highland Show 2014
ZA-TS is downsized
The introduction of the ZA-TS Super with a maximum payload of 3500kg and working
widths up to 36m means that the TS spreaders are now perfectly placed for
use by smaller growers. With a price differential of £2635 under the existing
range the machine fits in nicely between the ZA-M
Profis Hydro and the ZA-TS
Ultra.
Pantera self-propelled sprayer prowls on
The new Pantera
4502 takes pride of place centre right with the increased performance
over the out-going model creating added interest. The 4,800 litre tank, supported
by a 220 hp Tier IIIB Deutz engine which can be carried along at up to 50
km/h where legal, provides the basis for exceptional efficiency. Higher torque
final drives and disc brakes all-round make for speedier, safer road transport.
For the driver, the Claas Vista cab is fitted with a Stage IV filtration
system to ensure operator safety and comfort when applying any product. Boom
widths from 24m to 40m with automatic height adjustment, boom purge and recirculation
fit in with any tramline width and the new Altek pumps provide added output
at minimal spray residues. Talk to your local dealer about a demonstration

Inversion tillage now part of the range
The Cayron
plough is now rolling of the production line in the new hall at
the BBG Leipzig
factory; bringing plough production back to Leipzig 150 years
on from the first European iron plough produced there by Rudolph Sack & Co.
in 1863. Initially available in 5 & 6 furrows, there is a choice of the
Cayron 200 with a manually adjustable working width or the on-the-move infinitely
variable working width, Cayron 200 V. The Cayron is designed for tractors
up to 240 hp. The 83cm beam height and a point-to-point clearance of 100cm
makes the Cayron ideal for burying large amounts of crop residues. New C-Blade
bodies reduce the wearing metal costs by adding an additional shin area on
the front of the mouldboard as well as the wing/point overlap preventing
roots and string becoming trapped between the wearing metal.
Cirrus 03 takes over the reins
The Cirrus range of trailed cultivator drills has always played a major
part in the Amazone drill line up, the new Cirrus 03 series builds
on those strong credentials and expands the range of operation. At
RHASS 2014 will be the new, highly manoeuvrable, shortened Cirrus
3003 Compact.
Matrix tyres fitted throughout:
The heart of the machine revolves literally around the new Matrix tyres
which, with their radial construction and large diameter, make for
an easy pull of the machine and also an excellent self-cleaning effect.
In true Amazone style, the Matrix tyre offer strip-wise consolidation
so, depending on row spacing either 3 or 4 of the new RoTeC pro disc
coulters follow the strip of soil most heavily consolidated by the
ribs on the tyres for optimum seed/soil contact.
RoTeC pro coulters:
The RoTeC pro coulter gives an enhanced seed placement due to its new
furrow former and seed pipe entry design.
Hopper sizes are increased now up to maximum of 4000 litres on the 6m model with the optional grain & fertiliser system.
This new kit will sit amongst the expanding range of cultivation, drilling, spreading and spraying equipment as well as a full range of Groundcare kit including the SmartCut Profihopper and Groundkeeper models.
