Twose New Three-Section Rollers are a Triple Treat
A new range of three-section rollers has been launched by Twose to supersede its popular UHF models.
Aimed at farmers and contractors, the new FR-3 range is available in working widths of 6.4m, 7.3m and 8.4m and has been designed to be robust and cost-effective while offering a choice of performance-enhancing options.
Twose FR-3 Roller
FR-3 machines are precision-engineered in the UK and feature pivoting wings which ensure the rollers closely follow the contours of the ground.
Equipped with heavy-duty 65mm bearings and shafts, the machines also feature a proven castellated ring profile unique to Twose, which protects the shaft and enhances durability.
The choice of options available includes:
-
Levelling boards for levelling and breaking up clods on cultivated ground
-
Front tines - which deliver an even distribution of surface trash on stubble ground encouraging the volunteer seeds to grow - and de-thatch and remove dead vegetation in grassland when fitted to ballast rollers
-
A 75cm (30") ballast roller, which when filled with water produces 4600kgs of rolling weight (Available on the 6.4m model only)
-
And a choice of 55cm (22-inch) Cambridge rings and 55cm (22-inch) Cambridge breakers
