Trimble to Showcase its Latest Agriculture Solutions at Agritechnica
Trimble will be showcasing its latest agriculture solutions at Agritechnica in Hanover, Germany, 10–16 November 2013, including its new Connected Farm™ dashboard and TMX-2050™ display.
Trimble, a leading provider of complete solutions for precision agriculture, and its German/Austrian reseller geo-konzept, will be located in hall 17/stand E49.
Connected Farm™ dashboard
Agritechnica attendees will be able to view Trimble's new TMX-2050 display, a next-generation display built on the popular Android™ operating system. The display offers an intuitive interface that enables farmers to easily implement precision agriculture solutions as their business grows, and is an addition to Trimble's existing line of guidance displays. With an operating system suited for connectivity, the TMX-2050 display will provide optimal performance with the Connected Farm, an integrated operations management solution that facilitates information exchange across the entire farm. To support the mixed-fleet operations most farmers utilize, the display can easily be installed and transferred from vehicle to vehicle, and is designed for a wide variety of agriculture vehicle types regardless of make or model. The display is expected to be available in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Trimble will also showcase its new Connected Farm dashboard, which is a Web portal that provides one centralized location for farmers to view key information impacting their farm. With this information, farmers are able to make better daily decisions based on the latest data. The Connected Farm dashboard is customizable and accessible via Internet-enabled devices such as desktop and notebook personal computers, smartphones and tablets, and the new TMX-2050 display. With the Connected Farm dashboard, farmers can view the weather forecast weekly, daily, or hourly for a given location including temperature, humidity, chance of precipitation and wind speed. They also can view detailed farming operations data, monitor a fleet by tracking the location and status of vehicles, receive geo-fence or curfew alerts, and view a boundaries map created with Trimble's Connected Farm scout app.
As an international company, Trimble is focused on providing farmers worldwide with precision agriculture solutions that can transform traditional farming practices," said Jim Watt, regional director of the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific Region for Trimble's Agriculture Division. "Since Agritechnica is the world's leading show for agriculture, it offers Trimble an invaluable opportunity to talk one-on-one with farmers and showcase how Trimble solutions can help them save money, improve productivity and realize efficiencies."
