Pownall Poultry Coup at Craven Feather Auctions

A two-times national poultry champion headed the pecking order with a pair of White Wyandotte bantams at the Craven Feather Auctions summer show and sale of poultry and waterfowl at Skipton Auction Mart. (Sat, Aug 31)

Derbyshire breeder David Pownall, of Riverside Cottage, Old Glossop, who was national champion this year at Stoneleigh with his Black Orpingtons and also won the same title in 2010, that time with White Wyandottes, ruled the roost with his first-ever title winners at the North Yorkshire venue.
