Sahara Go Top at Southern Classic Holstein Sale

The first edition of the Southern Classic at Bristol took place on 4th April 2013 within the Bristol Sale Centre.

The weather was more typical of mid winter than an April Spring day with swirling snow and low temperatures combined with a wind chill that would have discouraged the most determined. However, the sale was well supported with buyers and bidders from all the home Nations in attendance to see the trade top at 7,000gns. It was also clear to see that the trade was very selective with a number of animals passed not realising vendors expectations.
