The Kverneland Turbo is Back!
Kverneland Turbo is reintroduced after several years as a trailed version in 6,5m and 8m. It has been designed for soil cultivation up to 15cm deep such as reopening the soil after the winter time, seedbed preparation or for Summer/Autumn stubble operations.
3 working zones
First, the Kverneland Turbo has
5 rows of tines to avoid any blockages with the biggest amount
of residues such as sunflower, oil
seed rape, maize, etc… The
long distance between the tine rows varies between 510 and 900mm
to get the optimum soil flow around the wheels. Secondly, the tines
are followed by levelling tines to close the furrow made by the
last rows of S-tines. Finally, the Kverneland Turbo can get the
most active rollers in the range such as Actipack 560mm, Actiflex
580mm or Actiring 540mm.

High vibration and narrow spacing for high crumbling effect
The
S-tine is benefitting of a high vibration effect: the large coil
and the high tine clearance of 700mm gives a high flexibility while
ensuring a high vibration to crack the clods. The narrow tine spacing
is made for an active crumbling and nice levelling. In addition,
the pressure applied on the coil is reduced to extend the life
time. The tine can get 3 different shares:

55x15mm for deep cultivation, low disturbance, and low fuel consumption. It is mostly used to open the soil in spring time

Strong and robust frame
The frame has been performed by FEM (Finite Element Method) calculation
to comply with the highest lateral and longitudinal forces, but
also to get the heaviest roller like the Actipack roller.
The machines can get hydraulic or pneumatic brakes to ensure safe transports on the road.
High stability at work
To follow the ground contour, the machine is equipped as standard with
4 depth wheels in
front. Then, the 3 sections act independently from each other. This
gives a really high
stability to the machine. The rear depth control is ensured by the roller.
And in transport…
The transport width
doesn’t exceed 3m on
road.
