H&H Land and Property Shall Go to the Ball
As one of the largest firm of rural surveyors in the North, H&H Land and Property is sponsoring the South Durham Hunt Ball on 1st February 2014.
An annual event in the rural calendar of County Durham, the Ball not only supports a traditional country pursuit which continues to be popular in the community, but it is also a big fundraiser for the North East Air Ambulance.

The Ball will be held at Church Quarry, Aycliffe Village, and promises
to be a key social landmark – with locally sourced food, dancing
and the excitements of a fun casino. Tickets are at £68 a head and
may be obtained from The South Durham Hunt. Tables of 10 and 12
are available.
Commenting on the event, David
Quayle Director of the Durham branch
of H&H Land and Property, said: “We are very much looking forward
to the South Durham Hunt Ball. Supporting events which bring the
community together, especially for a good cause, is very important
to us. The
Great North Air Ambulance is a charity very close to
the heart of rural communities, we are proud to lend our support
to both the Ball and the Air Ambulance.
Big events in rural districts need a lot of help, support and organising if they are to survive. We are very happy to help. It makes a lot of sense for a company like ours to be part of the community at every level.
Thanks must be given to John Wade for his willingness to allow the rural community to hold such a social event at the Church Quarry.”
With offices in Durham and Carlisle, H&H Land and Property is a progressive company with a heritage going back over 100 years, it has an in-house resident planning team and a team of specialist agricultural advisors. They offer a diverse range of services which includes estate management, sales and lettings, valuations, landlord and tenant and expert witness advice.
Commenting on the event Ball organiser, Claire Carter, said: “The Hunt Ball is always the highlight of the social calendar each year with an expanding guest list. This year we have added a fun casino to provide an extra bit of entertainment along with a fantastic band and DJ to keep everybody on the dance floor. We hope to raise vital funds for the Great North Air Ambulance, who provide an invaluable service. This event would not be possible without our sponsors and all of the supporters.”
