Amazone Gets Full Marks in the Cultivator Test

When going up against 16 other three row tine cultivator competitors then there is always a risk of being outshone but, when it comes to the Cenius mulch cultivator, La France Agricole magazine ‘struggled to find anything to criticise and so, accordingly, the operational results are extremely good’

Following on from the launch of the new trailed folding Cenius 4002-2T at the recent Cereals 2013 event at Lincoln, the machine on test was the mounted rigid Cenius 3002 Super with 11 tines followed by a double row of levelling discs and the well-proven tandem roller plus here, hydraulic depth control was also fitted although an optional extra.

And what did the judges find so impressive? It was not just the quality of the mix and the aggressiveness of the cultivating effect of the machine that gave the Cenius the edge but also everything physical about the machine as well; the clearance on the frame, the unique 3-D break back system on the tines, the flexibility of settings on the side discs – width, angle, depth, etc. and the lack of necessity for lubrication with oil immersed bearings on the levelling discs and open loose pivots on the tine system. The wearing metal was also easily changed using the Vario-Clip knock-on points system.

For a demonstration in a field near you then contact your local Amazone dealer, or why not get in touch with us direct, because being number one out of sixteen can’t be that bad, can it?
