News of the easing of export restrictions adds new impetus
to the British Pig Executive's (BPEX) moves to keep the
lines of communication open with Europe.
BPEX is well aware of the importance of getting exports
re-established as quickly as possible to help ease the
crisis in the industry.
To that end, BPEX is jointly sponsoring
a British meat dinner as part of Anuga, the biggest food
fair in the world, which takes place in Cologne, from October
13 to 17.
The dinner is for 260 people including buyers and journalists
from all over Europe and beyond.
