Rapid growth in H&H Insurance Brokers’ business has meant a relocation of its offices on the H&H site at Rosehill, Carlisle.
The new office is part of the new £1.1 million show hall and office complex at Borderway and will enable all of the staff to be located on the same floor. This will greatly improve the efficiency of the operation allowing staff to be more effective, saving considerable time and enabling them to focus on developing the quality of their customer service.
As well as taking on three new employees in the last six months - Kevin Stairmand as senior area development manager, Ken Herd as compliance and operations manager and Hugh Chamberlain as trainee development executive - H&H Insurance Brokers also achieved its best ever profit for the year end to June 2010.
Originally based on what is now the auctioneers office at Borderway Mart, and to cope with growth of the business, the company moved to the ground floor of the adjoining building in 2001, taking over the first floor in 2005.
Since then the company has seen a rapid growth in its business and had outgrown its location.
Philip Pagin, managing director, said: “We are delighted with our new office location within the Borderway complex. Being based on the one floor will allow the staff to more easily interact with each other, improving operational efficiency and thereby saving time which will be better directed towards supporting our growing customer base.”
All contact details, including address, telephone and fax numbers are unchanged following the move.
