This partnership appointment further cements the company’s presence in Yorkshire and the North of England. Kevin has an in depth knowledge of Agricultural Law and specialises in landlord and tenant negotiations, valuation of property throughout the rural, commercial and leisure sectors and regularly acts as an expert witness on a variety of property related matters.

Kevin who grew up in the Ripon area and was educated at Ripon Grammar School, went on to study Rural Enterprise and Land Management at Harper Adams Agricultural College. A member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a Fellow of the Central Association Agricultural Valuers, Kevin began his professional career with George F. White. After a short career move he returned to the company in 2007 and has recently been appointed as a recommended Professional for the Tenant Farmers Association and an agent for the Agricultural Mortgage Corporation.

"To be invited into such a progressive and forward thinking partnership at George F. White is an incredibly proud moment in my career. I would like to thank the partners for offering me this opportunity, and I am excited at the prospect of being involved in taking the company from strength to strength.”

When asked what he felt were the key issues currently facing the industry Kevin said:

“The continued and increasing pressure on maintaining business structure and profitability, and the availability of money means that it is absolutely imperative that professional advice is sought on all matters relating to that business and people understand the implications of their actions. Also, property is invariably the most valuable asset which people own and it is important that people receive the correct advice regarding this; this will hopefully ensure that people maximise the benefit from their asset”.

George F White has one of the largest team of qualified members of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in the North of England. They operate throughout the rural, residential, commercial and leisure sectors and have offices in County Durham, North Yorkshire, Northumberland, and London. Recent expansion has resulted in the firm now exceeding 70 people and Hugh Fell, Managing Partner, is delighted that Kevin has joined the partnership:

“In the short time since Kevin's return, we have seen the positive impact which he has had on the business and this appointment will help us to continue the growth of George F. White in the Yorkshire region. Having partners who are experts in their own field ensures that our clients receive the best possible advice in our key areas of work.”
