Chaired by Professor Geoff Simm, Head of SAC Sustainable Livestock Systems, the seminar will address the issue “What you need to consider if you want to be in business in five years’ time.”

Speakers include; SAC’s Dr Dave Roberts who will outline SAC’s current research on dairy systems; Jan Vos, General Manager, Koepon Europe (previously manager of Koepon, Newton Stewart) who will focus on his own farm system in the Netherlands; and Sandy Ramsay of SAC who will look at financial issues.

The seminar begins at 11.30am (tea and coffee will be available from 11.00am) and concludes at 12.30pm after which a light lunch will be available and individual discussions will take place at each of the sites.
