Over the two days, farmers will be able to weigh up the benefits of the full range of milking systems on the market, from the latest rapid exit and rotary to herringbone and robotic. In addition, specialists will be on hand to offer advice on all aspects of each system along with parlour design for not only cows but also goats and sheep.

In addition, this year for the first time visitors will have access to the most comprehensive range of calf feeding systems including a computerised feeder demonstration featuring live calves. Advice on calf nutrition, housing and marketing will also be available throughout the two day event.

“Dairy Event provides a unique opportunity for dairy farmers in the UK to meet all the leading manufacturers see all the latest developments in milking technology and calf rearing equipment, at just one event,” comments RABDF chief executive, Nick Everington. “These technical developments provide yet another opportunity for all producers to reduce costs and improve their herd’s overall efficiency.”
