Lazonby Sheep Dog Sale

Harrison & Hetherington held their summer sale of working & unbroken sheep dogs & puppies at Lazonby Mart on Wednesday where there was an entry of 29 head.

Leading the sale at 1,300 gns, from local vendor Paul Chester, Lowgill, Flitholme, was Floss, an unregistered 15 months old bitch. 

Having put in an excellent run she attracted the attention of the large crowd and the successful bid came from Mr J Burton, Cononish, Tyndrum.  Shaun Richards, Hapton, Burnley ran Vic a 4 year old registered dog who controlled his sheep well and he sold at 1,100 gns to prominent Lonk sheep breeder Chris Crowther, Upperwood House, Greenfield, Oldham
