Nick Martin, chef at the Regency Hotel Ambleside, will be cooking up some innovative recipes using Kendal Rough Fell lamb at the Westmorland Show this Thursday.
The cookery demonstration is being held in the Made in Cumbria Food Marquee at the Show starting at 1.30pm and his exciting recipes include:
* Roast rack of Kendal Rough Fell lamb with a Damson gin flambé
* Roast loin of Kendal Rough Fell Lamb with a pear puree, roast sweet onions, and Sour Cherry and Chocolate Bread
Nick Martin said: "I am going to recreate the loin of lamb dish from my recent visit to Bologna using Kendal Rough Fell lamb. This is the launch of the Kendal Rough Fell lamb season which runs from September to May and I am delighted to be able to use the lamb that is native to the fells around Kendal."
