Trouw Nutrition sole supplier of Denkavit milk replaceR products in the UK
07/09/05

Trouw Nutrition UK has reached agreement (1st September 2005) with the leading milk replacer manufacturer, Denkavit International, to become its sole distributor for Denkavit products in the UK.

Under the arrangement Trouw Nutrition UK will market the full range of Denkavit milk replacer products to the existing customer base of the previous supplier, British Denkavit. Key members of the British Denkavit sales team will transfer to Trouw Nutrition UK to support the expanded operation.

Announcing the agreement, Trouw Nutrition UK General Manager, Gert Bargeman says he is enthusiastic about the combined potential, "This is an exciting development for Trouw Nutrition UK. We already have an established brand in the sector with the Milkivit range; the addition of Denkavit products will further strengthen our offering to farmers in the UK. Denkavit has a long established and respected reputation in the UK and we will look to build on these strengths. With our expanded technical sales team we will be discussing with our customers the most appropriate products to suit their needs. Ultimately their requirements will determine the future combined product range."

Gert Bargeman continues, "For the current Denkavit product customers, our commitment is to facilitate the smoothest transfer of operations, customer requirements and accounts to our customer service centre at Trouw Nutrition UK"

Producers visiting the forthcoming Dairy Event will be able to discuss the full range of milk replacer products with specialists on two stands. The existing Trouw Nutrition UK stand is at 390 in Cattle Shed 7 and the company has also taken on the previous British Denkavit stand 370 in Cattle Shed 4.

"It is an exciting time for our business. This development is a further demonstration of our commitment to work with selected partners and to provide innovative products and expertise to our customers, ultimately farmers will benefit from improved products supported by an extended R+D programme," concludes Mr Bargeman.
