RABDF£10k funding offered to Dairy Event exhibitors' overseas guests
20/06/05

A £10,000 funding package is being offered to exhibitors at the Dairy Event to help them expand their export business.

The International Agriculture and Technology Centre, IATC, in conjunction with event organisers, the Royal Association of British Dairy Farmers are providing eligible companies with the opportunity to claim up to £250 per head towards UK travel and accommodation costs of potential key buyers and trading partners attending Dairy Event, this year to be held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry on 21 and 22 September.

RABDF's chief executive, Nick Everington explains: “Dairy Event is becoming increasingly prominent on the international calendar as a premier business to business event within the dairy sector, and this year we expect to meet delegates from more than 30 countries including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iran, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland and Finland.” He adds: “We are optimistic that our new offer will encourage UK based companies to welcome more overseas visitors which in turn will help them to increase their export business.”

Further details on the overseas guest funding can be obtained from IATC's Georgina Ingram on 02476 323 966.
