As a family company, there has always been a strong ethos within CLAAS for encouraging staff to develop their careers and to provide the opportunity for staff to progress, and these management changes reflect that policy.

Sales & Marketing Manager for CLAAS UK, Trevor Tyrrell moves to a European Marketing role within the CLAAS Group. Trevor joined CLAAS UK in 1989 as a graduate trainee from Silsoe, and since that time has held various product management and sales roles.

John Kneller, who currently head’s up CLAAS Finance in the UK, becomes the new General Manager, Sales and Marketing for CLAAS UK. Working alongside him as the new National Sales Manager will be Jeremy Wiggins. Jeremy joined CLAAS UK as a graduate trainee in 1996 and is currently Product Manager for Green Harvest products.

Following the decision by Tom Jewers to return to family farming, his position as the Product Manager for Tractors and Telescopic Handlers has been taken over by Alastair McCallum.

Paul Moss, who is currently the CLAAS UK Product Manager for combines has been appointed General Sales Manager for Manns. Paul originally joined Manns as an apprentice, and transferred to sales prior to moving to CLAAS UK in July 1998.
