Breed Stalwarts Clinch Top Honours at Skipton Charollais Show 19/09/08
Commercial rams lined up for the annual British Charollais Sheep Society show and sale at Skipton Auction Mart, with two of the breed’s staunchest supporters sharing championship honours with a pair of newcomers to the exhibition arena.

Champions at the May prime lambs show at Skipton Auction Mart were a pen of three 45-kilo Charollais lambs exhibited by Martin Preston, of the Bingley-based Robston Partnership.

Cheviot Sheep
The Geldards imported their first three pedigree Charollais from France in 1982 when they farmed in the Lake District near Ambleside and they have been breeding them ever since.
