The award recognises individuals who deliver truly exceptional customer service and go that extra mile to ensure that excellent service is delivered.
Kirsteen is a very pro-active individual, extremely enthusiastic about imparting the correct information to customers and offers exceptional customer service when at work, and even more so outside working hours. Kirsteen goes the extra mile due to the nature of her personality, not for gain for herself, commented the judges.
She has had a challenging 12 months, continually providing the high standard of service to new and existing customers whilst behind the scenes, being heavily involved in the preparations for the opening of the Perth Store.
A runner-up in the Customer Care category in 201, Kirsteen was previously assistant manager at our store at the Caledonian Mart, Stirling.
In its sixth year the annual Over the Counter Awards recognise and celebrate excellence from animal health professionals, manufacturers, country stores and retail outlets across the UK, including delivering best practice advice and exceptional customer service.
Over the Counter magazine is integral to the marketplace by ensuring everyone from SQP’s, vet nurses, buyers, wholesalers to distributors receive relevant up to date training, latest news and product information by working with key industry bodies including AMTRA, AHDA and NOAH.
Natasha Baker, 2012 Paralympic Double Gold Medallist, presented the Awards on the prestigious House of Lords terrace and gave an impressive introduction about her own motivations and achievements, not least winning two Gold medals at the Olympic London Games, her first ever Paralympics, and how the winners today promoted themselves and their companies through their own hard work.
The judges were looking for individuals and companies that stood head and shoulders above their competitors, who go the extra mile and who can act as ambassadors for the industry in driving forward standards of customer service and advice.
