Borderway Agri-Expo 2008

Following the resounding success of Borderway’s first Agri-Expo event last November, plans are now well advanced for this year’s event on Friday October 31. The inaugural event organised by auction company Harrison & Hetherington at Borderway, Carlisle, attracted an estimated 5,000 visitors and almost 120 exhibits of machinery demonstrations, breed society and trade stands.

Meat & Wool New Zealand Beef Expo

Meat & Wool New Zealand 2007 Beef Expo was held at the Arena Manawatu, Palmerston North on 12th - 16th May. Future Beef, Hoof & Hook Competitions, Steak of Origin Taste Judging, shows and sales.

Beef Expo 2009

This annual event, organised by the National Beef Association and held at a different venue each year, is now firmly established as the major technical event for the UK beef industry and attracts thousands of beef producers from all over the country and overseas.

AgroFarm 2008

AgroFarm is held at the All-Russian Exhibition Centre (VVC) in Moscow. It presents a wide variety of forward-looking solutions for keeping and feeding, animal health and genetics of key livestock species. The unique ‘Specials’ such as livestock shows, forum discussions and information centres on special subjects ideally complement the exhibition.

Beef producers could scoop up to £3000 in addition to auction revenue for the champion beef carcass at this year's inaugural English Winter Fair at Stafford (Nov 15-16) thanks to sponsorship from leading abattoir group Anglo Beef Processors (ABP).

Commercial Showcattle Society to Launch at Great Yorkshire Show 27/06/08
The Commercial Showcattte Society, a new organisation open to everyone in the UK with an interest in commercial beef cattle, is to be officially launched at this year’s Great Yorkshire Show in Harrogate.

Next year’s National Beef Event, Beef Expo 2009, will be held at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern, in Worcestershire, courtesy of the Three Counties Agricultural Society, on Friday, May 22, 2009.

Canadian Western Agribition

One of North America's largest livestock shows, featuring over 4000 head of livestock on display throughout the six day show each November. Purebreed beef, commercial and dairy cattle, draft and light horses, sheep, goats, llamas, and bison. We also feature over $2 million in livestock sales in just six days.

Iowa Beef Expo

The Annual Iowa Beef Expo will be held at the Iowa State Fairgrounds, Des Moines, Iowa. The Iowa Beef Expo schedule will be filled with sales, tradeshow exhibitors, live displays and the junior steer and heifer show.

World Congress of Italian Beef Breeds

Italy, and Umbria in particular, had the honour of playing host to the Fourth World Congress of Italian Beef Breeds, which was held in Gubbio (Perugia) on 29 April-1 May 2005. Ten years after the last Italian edition, the Congress returned to the country of origin of the white breeds, at an extremely favourable time for their development.

Calgary Bull Sale

The roots of the Calgary Bull Sale go back to Canada's big ranching era in the late 1800's. Following the later winter calving in the favorable climate of the Alberta foothills, ranchers gathered in Calgary to trade livestock in March in preparation for the spring and summer cattle breeding season.

American Royal

The American Royal Livestock, Horse Show & Rodeo is among the largest of nearly two dozen non-fair expositions in North America. What began as a cattle show in a tent at the Kansas City Stockyards in 1899 has become the Midwest's premier autumn event!
