High Type Scores Give Friesian Bull Kirkby Jayson the Edge Friesian herds that are looking for a strong bull that is very good on Type will be very impressed with Kirkby Jayson.
The Rocket 3 X Sharcombe Beta son featured strongly in the December DairyCo Breeding+ Friesian Bull Proofs. His scores were based on the results of 135 Proof Daughters from 76 herds. Kirkby Jayson was second on the all-important Legs and Feet list with a score of +2.26. This and a very good +1.40 Mammary score meant he delivered a Type Merit score of +1.76. “Kirkby Jayson shows that Bullsemen.com is not just committed to offering the best Holstein bulls to producers, but also leading Friesian bulls too,” says Nick Kirby, managing director of Bullsemen.com, whose Holstein bulls occupied 32 of the top 100 places in the December Holstein Proof. “He is a great option for Friesian dairy farmers looking to improve the health and strength of their herds.
