The organisation for English beef and lamb levy payers hosted a major delegation of breeders, officials and journalists during the event at the Three Counties Showground, Malvern.
Representatives from Armenia, Bosnia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia and Spain joined EBLEX at the event.
Jean-Pierre Garnier, EBLEX export manager, said: “Beef Expo is a major event in the industry calendar. Coupled with renewed optimism in the sector, it was the perfect platform to showcase to an international audience what the UK has to offer in terms of genetics and high quality beef.
“British cattle are very well suited to low input, grass-based systems which are environmentally sustainable and can be adapted to many countries and situations. In that respect, we certainly have much to offer in terms of beef cattle performance and productivity.”
