2018 Cream Awards to Take Place Alongside Dairy-Tech
RABDF has confirmed that the 2018 Cream Awards will move to Chesford Grange, Kenilworth, as part of the event’s plans to tie in with RABDF’s new flagship Dairy-Tech event.
The Cream Awards ceremony will now take place on the evening of Dairy-Tech, Wednesday 7 February 2018.
The Cream Awards, which are in their fifth year, recognise positive forward thinking, innovation and success within the dairy industry. Alan Whibley, director of the Cream Awards, says holding the ceremony on the evening of Dairy-Tech will create a focus of dairy related activity in February, traditionally a quiet time for farmers.

Whibley says:
“Linking this premier dairy event with the pinnacle
of dairy awards seems the most logical decision for both of the
organisations, and will allow visitors to let their hair down and
enjoy a celebratory atmosphere just a few miles down the road from
the show. The move is especially significant with Dairy-Tech focusing
on innovation, technical excellence and use of technology, all of
which are aspects the Cream Awards look for in their winners.”
Matthew Knight, managing director RABDF, says the details of Dairy-Tech will unfold over the coming months.
He says:
“The bringing together of Dairy-Tech
and the Cream Awards will offer dairy professionals the opportunity to network
and learn more about how the dairy industry is moving forward, as well as celebrate
best practice.”
The Cream Awards will be formally launched in June. The judging panel is comprised of respected industry leaders including NFU president Meurig Raymond, RABDF chairman Mike King, economist Sean Rickard, Nick Green, Mole Valley CEO Andrew Jackson and vet Rob Drysdale.
