Craig Brough Joins the CLA Agriculture and Land Use Committee
Craig Brough, Associate Director at H&H Land and Property, has been elected to the National CLA Policy Committee for Agriculture and Land Use. The CLA represents landowners, farmers and rural businesses.
Craig Brough, a Cumbrian farming man born and bred, is in addition to this work at H&H Land and Property heavily involved in the 560 acre family dairy farm Buckabank Farm in Dalston, Cumbria. Craig owns his own Jersey herd, along with the management of his flock of sheep.

Being nominated for the committee is an exciting step for Craig
as he tells us here:
“It is an honour to have been nominated and selected to join the
Agriculture and Land Use Committee. Both my work at H&H Land
and Property and the work I do at home on the family farm have
meant that I have a good rounded knowledge of both sides of the
farming industry. I think this leaves me well placed to promote
the interests of livestock farming in upland areas.”
The committee will advise on commodities, CAP, animal health and agricultural aspects of rural development. Craig has worked for H&H Land and Property for 7 years, and the breadth of his knowledge of the agricultural industry has led to his nomination. As part of his new role he will attend three meetings a year of the committee in London.
