The Bernard Krone GmbH Agricultural Machinery division welcomed the appointment of a new managing director as of 1st August 2015.

Wilhelm Voß has been with Krone since 1994 and was appointed managing director in 1995. From the financial year 1992/1993 up until today the sales revenues of the Agricultural Machinery division increased from about 80 million euros to about 550 million euros. In 1992/93 about 60 percent of the division’s turnover was achieved in Germany. Under the aegis of Wilhelm Voß, who consistently explored, established and expanded new export markets, this ratio was reversed in that 70 percent of the division's total sales are now generated in foreign markets.

"We welcome Martin Eying as an executive who knows the Krone company inside out. Having received an excellent introduction by Wilhelm Voß, Martin Eying is not only very well familiar with all internal processes and points of contact but also with our sales partners abroad”, says Bernard Krone, chief managing director of Agricultural Machinery.

Born in a village in northern Germany, Martin Eying grew up on a farm and then went on to study Business Administration at Osnabruck University. After his graduation he sealed a job as product manager before he joined Krone in 2001 where he started out as a trainee and export sales manager at the company’s Commercial Trailers division before he became international liaison officer at the Agricultural Machinery division. Here, he was appointed export sales spokesperson in 2009 and was given procuration in 2012. Martin Eying is married and has three children.

The Agricultural Machinery management board is made up by the following managing directors: Martin Eying (sales/marketing), Bernard Krone (chief managing director), Uwe Hansult (manufacturing/logistics/purchase), Josef Horstmann (R & D) and Wolfgang Jung (Service & Parts).
