Overall average of 261.6p per kilo (SQQ 264.2p). More lambs required to meet buyers requirements. Producers are urged to keep drawing lambs at lighter weights.

A much larger show of 5,370 prime hoggs again sold to extreme rates. All hoggs carrying good flesh sold to extreme rates, especially export type hoggs with heavyweight hoggs being short of buyers requirements. Top price of £126 per head for Texels from C.J. Putt, Branteth, with a top per kilo of 277p for Texels from Messrs Miller, Allerby Hall. The overall sale average was 226.6p per kilo (SQQ 227.6p).
