British Blues Bound For Balmoral Park

The 2013 British Blue Balmoral Show Judge will be Allan Wilkinson of the “Springfield” Herd from Preston in Lancashire.

Allan and Deirdre Wilkinson established the Springfield Herd over 20 years ago, with Allan now a very well respected judge of British Blue Cattle throughout the UK. On this occasion at the Royal Ulster he will have before him quality cattle from eight renowned Northern Ireland breeders.

BBCS secretary John Fleming looks forward to viewing the cream of the ultimate beef breed at the new Balmoral Show location.

Judging commences at 10.30am, on Wednesday May 15 with a presentation of cups and trophies later than afternoon on the British Blue Cattle Society stand, B36 on the pedigree beef breeds avenue, overlooking the cattle lawns.

The British Blue Cattle Society and its members in Northern Ireland are looking forward to exhibiting at the new Balmoral Park Show site.

British Blue Cattle Society company secretary, John Fleming, commented “The demand – led move by The Royal Ulster Agricultural Society to the spacious new site at Balmoral Park is a very exciting one. We are all looking forward to attending this new venue and wish the RUAS team every success in their courageous development.”
