Are Your Wellies Warm?

A resounding “Yes’ was the answer when farmers on the Bekina test panel visited the company Wellington boot factory during bitterly cold weather.

The 100 farmers from across Flanders test wellington boots for Bekina by wearing them up to 12 hours a day in all sorts of weather and working conditions for many months.

Bekina Steplite X wellies

Bekina Steplite X wellies are a winner when it comes to keeping farm feet warm,” the united response from over a 100 test panel farmers visiting the Bekina factory in Flanders

Welcoming them to a factory tour Bekina managing director Thomas Vanderbeke noted that, “A test panel of hard working farmers constantly wearing and commenting on boots helps ensure quality products can be supplied to their fellow farmers worldwide.

“Who better to tell us if our broad fitting Wellington boots are comfortable and safe to wear when snow and biting cold winds sweep in from the east?

“Farmers in the Bekina test panel also help us compare Bekina comfort and quality levels with those of the competition. This is especially important during the development of new products.”

The third generation to head the family firm based at Kluisbergen in rural Flanders Thomas Vanderbeke added that being made from polyurethane Bekina boots are light to wear, yet long lasting. Above all polyurethane boots have millions of tiny trapped air bubbles providing thermo insulation to keep feet cool in summer yet warm in winter.

For example, the Bekina Steplite X boot gives farm feet a real treat by keeping them warm down to -20 degrees C!
