Pyjamas and Pizzas for Keelham Comic Relief Party

Red Nose pizzas and an all-day pyjama party are set to take centre stage, as a West Yorkshire farm shop gears up for its annual Comic Relief capers.

The team at Keelham Farm Shop in Thornton, Bradford, will don pyjamas on Red Nose Day and are daring customers to do the same and join them for the revelry. (Friday, March 15)

Getting into the swing ahead of Keelham’s Comic Relief pyjama party are, from left, farm shop staff Ant Wilde, Jess Heslop, James Hudson and Damien Slater.

Those that take up the challenge will be justly rewarded - personally with a 10% across-the-board discount off the price of their shopping, or with the option of their savings being donated direct to Comic Relief to boost the fund-raising kitty.

“Supermarkets may ban customers from wearing their PJs while shopping, but we have no such qualms and issue an open invitation to all to come join the party,” said Keelham’s Victoria Robertshaw.

The award-winning Brighouse & Denholme Road outlet, the current UK Farm Shop of the Year, is also offering a special home-made Red Nose pizza throughout the week.

It’s topped with cherry tomato, red onion and oregano - the cherry tomatoes are like mini red noses - with 50p per pizza sale further swelling Comic Relief coffers.
