The land was sold to a local farmer. The auction, held at The Victoria Institute in Culgaith attracted a number of bidders and, in the final throes of the auction, competition for the farmland certainly heated up.
Thomas Armstrong, Selling Agent of H&H Land and Property commented on the impressive price reached at last night’s auction.
“Whilst the rest of the economy appears to be in troubled times farmland remains a sound investment. This was indicated at last night’s auction with so many enthusiastic bidders looking to secure the piece of Land at Culgaith”.
Forthcoming auctions that H&H Land and Property are expecting to see a large amount of interest in land in both Roweltown and North Stainmore.
