Amazone AMATECHNICA Autumn Cultivations Day

Amazone cordially invite you to their Amatechnica autumn cultivation day on Friday August 31st 2012.

Whether trailed cultivator drills or mounted drill combis,
Amazone will have the full monty on demo.

This year the event will be held just off the junction of the A1 with the B6045 at Blyth Services, Notts (courtesy of Messrs A. B. Smith). Come off the A1, north or southbound, at J34 Blyth Services and follow the Amazone demonstration signs off the northbound roundabout into the site.

Building on the success of last year’s inaugural event at Woolthwaithe Farm, Tickhill, this year’s autumn cultivation demo takes over 90 acres of rape stubble so there's plenty to go at!

Starting at 8.00 am, and with an aim to finish around midday, the full line-up of both cultivation and drilling kit will be on display with a chance to come a have a drive for yourself! Whether it is a shallow compact disc harrow for chitting stubbles post-combining, or a deep working tined cultivator for primary soil tillage, maybe a high-speed trailed solo or cultivator drill and even a power harrow / drill combi, then there will be something in the field here for everyone to have a play with.

Topical at the moment is the fight against grass weed problems in cereals and, of course, Amazone are at the forefront of cultivation tackle that enable you to adopt a ‘shallow and often’ approach to crop establishment.

On the drilling front, whether it is a Cirrus cultivator drill or an AD-P Super power harrow drill combi, then you will have a chance to try these, plus the new Citan 6000 solo drill on show for the first time with GPS-Switch automatic headland shut-off. The Cayena 6001-C, with its split grain and fertiliser hopper is also out and about in public for the first time and this will give you the chance to see why the Cayena covers all the bases with its flexible approach to direct drilling, min-till and conventional establishment after the plough.

Come and join us for a coffee and a bacon roll, take the opportunity to talk to us, the harvest to harvest experts in person, have a play with some kit and still get home in time to do some combining; what more could you ask for?
