With the demand for iodine outweighing supply dairy chemical hygiene specialists, Agroserve, has launched its new lactic acid teat care range as an alternative to iodine based products.
LactosprayAll-Ways can be used as a spray, dip or foam making it extremely versatile.
Agroserve, part of the GEA Farm Technologies umbrella, has launched two new teat care products LactosprayAll-Ways and Lactodip formulated with enhanced lactic acid, offering superior disinfection and skin conditioning as an alternative to iodine based products.
Operations Director, Chris Bisdee, said: “Our new Lactodip and LactosprayAll-Ways products are proven to have an efficiacy that is at least as good as our premium iodine and chlorhexidine dips, so there is absolutely no compromise on quality.”
Both spray and dip are coloured orange for high visibility and enhanced dipping control, have a high emollient specification of +15%, are EN1656 certified, with no mixing required meaning they are ready-to-use and available as 25, 200 and 1,000 liter pack sizes to suit all farm sizes.
LactosprayAll-Ways is exceptionally versatile because it is suitable for use before and/or after milking as a spray, dip or foam, making it unique in the market place.
For use after milking Lactodip is a breathable dip that gives prolonged teat protection between milkings. The consistency of the dip means it doesn’t drip as much as other post teat dips making it economic in use.
Agroserve is celebrating over 40 years as the UK’s largest dedicated dairy hygiene manufacturing plant. To mark the occasion Agroserve are giving away vouchers with all Lactodip and LactosprayAll-Ways purchases for farmers to redeem a number of skin care products including hand lotion, hand towels, bath towels, bath sheets and bath robes. Offer ends 27th April 2012.
