UK pig producers can review their current performance records and obtain expert advice and support from industry specialists, thanks to a new initiative named Recording Review announced today.

The service from Agrosoft UK Ltd is open to all pig producers in the UK who will be able to obtain valuable advice and interpretation of their current herd records and recording plans, irrespective of the current system they currently use.

Announcing the initiative James Nesling - UK Sales and Marketing Manager explains; "We have found that at this time of the year we receive a large number of calls from producers seeking advice on different performance areas and on how best to record or update their systems. We are able to look at the key parameters with them and discuss a range of options to suit their businesses.

He continues, "We have decided to extend the service and make ourselves available to offer advice on a full range of recording topics from establishing records and systems through to Prime Numbers, the on-farm benchmarking project.
